Partnerships
A partner with skin in the game
Servant Leadership Strategies, Inc. is a management company. Serve First and consulting are the way in. For the right owners, it becomes a partnership: SLS owns a percentage of the business and holds a management agreement to apply the Servant Leadership Strategy.
How a partnership works
- Proven first. Every partnership starts with Serve First and a Phase 1 goal, so both sides have seen real results.
- Earned, never bought. SLS's share is sweat equity from a major growth project, sized to the value it contributes.
- The owner runs the business. The owner stays president and is paid for the role.
- SLS plans. Under the management agreement, SLS's role is strategic planning only, guided by servant leadership.
- Shared upside. Ownership shares profit, so SLS wins only when the business does.
What the owner gets
- A planning partner for the big decisions, every week.
- Help building the next step, such as a second location.
- Garrett's small network of trusted lawyers, accountants and other professionals, at fair rates.
- A business that keeps running well when the owner steps back.
